i shot a house show on friday night. flowers forever (as seen above) and capgun coup played their hearts out and were met by an audience equally ready to rock. in addition to being home to some pretty cool bands, omaha has got a very excited and enthusiastic scene of music lovers. needless to say, these shows are a lot of fun.
in other news, my dad continues to be awesome. he built and installed the records shelf, which you can view below, in my apartment this week. we would have had it earlier had i not failed to realize when taking measurements that there's a slight (but significant enough!) inward slant in the wall above the book shelf. sigh.
