this post is meant as a sort of congratulations to kris on his peace corps placement in the konni region of niger. you could say i'm proud of him. in fact, i'm really proud of him. kris has an amazing ability to embrace change. in fact, he's taught me to run to, not from, the significant changes in my life. not too long ago we had a discussion about change being what makes the good times really good. you've got to appreciate them while you've got them.
and besides, if kris were still in lincoln, i'd miss lincoln more. see? now i have this strange longing in my heart for the konni region.
